Dr Kuljis graduated from the University of Marquette, his father was a general surgeon in a small mid west town who served in WWII as a naval doctor, so from a young age he was influenced by the kind bedside care his father showed with his patients. Dr Kuljis continues to loves his work by helping other people.
With his wife, kids and dogs, cat and guniea pig, they all live and take care of Nono, Dr Kuljis's 98 year old active dad. On weekends you'll normally find him working on his garden or spending time with his family . He is a fan of basketball and of course the Denver Nuggets. During the winter he skiis with family and friends then the summer he brings out tennis racquet, golf clubs, and leisurely bike rides with the family and dogs in tow. He also enjoys the adventure of travelling soaking the culture of people, food, countryside whilst appreciating it's architecture.
Dr Kuljis finds pleasure in maintaining his knowledge whether it be dental/medical, gardening, "how to" home projects, sports, financial, travel, restuarants or the latest things his teenage kids are into, as a result he reads many magazines and journals to keep him abreast of the latest technology and dental findings. In addition, he and his staff attends the Winter Dental Convection yearly held in Denver . He is a member of two implant study groups and has been practicing implant procedures for the last 20 years.
In our relaxed atmostphere and cheerful practice our hygienists encourage our patients to maintain their dental hygiene. Pam and Kristi believe by educating patients about periodontal disease it gives them tools and techniques to keep them healthy.
Ellen, Registered Hygienist
We are fortunate to have Ellen as our new dental hygienist, A native of Soux Falls, South Dakota, she brings both hygiene expericence and dental. Ellen spent the last 10yrs in Minnesota where she worked as a dental assistant for 5 years before graduating from dental hygiene school in 2011. If you have any questions on dental procedures Ellen is a good person to ask. Ellen moved to Colorado, April of 2012 and is enjoying all that it has to offer. She provides exceptional professional dental cleanings and periodontal therapy to improve gum health. Ellen's gentle and caring personality makes her patients feel relaxed and at ease. Outside the office, Ellen enjoys running, hiking, skiing, traveling, and her 11 yr. old cat named Cal.
Kristi, Registered Hygenist
Kristi comes from Florida and attended St Petersburg College attaining her BA in Dental Hygiene. She comes with 17 years of experience. Kristi first became interested in the dental field when she was 10 years old and spent alot of time at the dentists office as a result from an roller skating incident. During her spare time Kristi likes to ski, hike, salsa dance, go to the movies
and attend dinner parties with friends.
Lina, Office Manager
Originally from Sydney Australia, and of Asian descent, moved to Denver an experience to work overseas when she met her husband Dr Kuljis. Lina has been balancing working side by side with Dr Kuljis and
being at home involved with their childrens' school and activities for the last 10 years. She's instrumental in providing support for both the staff and Dr Kuljis. Lina oversees the accounts recievables and insurance.
Sara, Super Patient Co-coordinator
Sara our longtime employee, has been working in the dental administrative field for 16 years.She graduated with a BA in Computer Science. Patients feel confident not only with her knowledge of the mysteries of insurance but also her familiarity of dental procedures which put our patients at ease. Patients feel confident with Sara going over Dr Kuljis's treatment plans in association with insurance co-payments or discounts offered by various insurances.
Sara volunteers at animal shelters in conjunction with working at a elderly nursing home.
Kelsey, our friendly Patient Appointment Co-ordinator
Fresh, faced from Montana, Kelsey welcomes patients with her warm smile and happy demeanor. She takes care of our Hygienists' patients scheduling their appointments for regular check-ups, cleanings and return visits . If you are the type to lag behind your cleaning appointments get use to hearing Kelsey's voice caling to remind you. Kelsey enjoys the outdoors, taking her 2 dogs on walks and loves playing the piano.
Our certified professional Dental assistants, EDDAs (Extended Duty Dental Assistants) offer support for both Dr Kuljis and his patients. Feel confident in their experience and abilities to calm your nerves. They are familiar with the various procedures Dr Kuljis performs. They welcome any question or concerns to better take care of their patients.
Lee Ann, registered EDDA
Lee Ann has been working with Dr Kuljis for over 8 years. She brings dedication to our practice and to our patients. Along with her knowledge and 12 years experience as an EDDA she shares her natural calmness and ease with patients.
When she's not working she spends time with her grandchildren doting on them. She's keen on reading, cooking for many people and salsa dancing.
Kendra, registered EDDA
Our Utah transplant, Kendra attended and graduated in assisting from the Concord Institute in Denver and later proceeded to acquire her EDDA certification from CU Denver. We are fortunate to have Kendra as part of our dental team, she focuses on making our patients feel relaxed by being sensitive towards our patients' needs. Kendra exudes a warm personality.
When she's not busy at work, she has fun with her family, going out with friends. She particularly loves the summers, swimming sunbathing and playing by the pool with her kids.
Katherine, Dental Assistant/Massage Therapist
Katherine is recently moved from North Carolina where she grew up and attended Miller Motte College, graduating from their massage therapy program. Katherine likes working with people she genuinely cares for people's wellbeing. Through her knowledge of massage therapy she hopes to make our patients feel more comfortable and relaxed, making their dental visit to the office a more pleasant experience.
Katherine's interest are horsback riding, cooking and yoga. She moved to Denver to hike and enjoy the vistas of the Rocky Mountains.
