Dr. Kuljis graduated from the University of Marquette, his father was a general surgeon in a small midwest town who served in WWII as a Naval doctor, so from a young age he was influenced by the kind bedside care his father showed with his patients. Dr. Kuljis continues to loves his work by helping other people.
An avid gardener you’ll find Dr Lawrence Kuljis attending his lawn and his new hobby growing grapes in the hopes of producing wine. He’s a fan of basketball and of course the Denver Nuggets. During the winter he skis with his family and plays Paddle tennis (a new winter past time), the summer he switches to his tennis racquet. He enjoys the adventure of travel soaking the cultures of people, food, countryside and architecture.
Dr Kuljis finds pleasure in maintaining his knowledge whether it be dental/medical, gardening, “how-to” home projects, sports, financial, restaurants or the latest things his grown kids are into by reading many magazines and journals to keep him abreast of the latest technology and dental findings. In addition, he and his staff attends the Winter Dental Convection yearly held in Denver
Originally from Sydney Australia, and of Asian descent, Lina moved to Denver for an opportunity to work overseas when she met her husband Dr. Kuljis. Lina has been balancing working side by side with Dr. Kuljis and being at home involved with their children's school and activities. Recent years as their have children grown Lina’s had more time to improve her tennis game in the hopes of beating her husband one day in singles. During the winter she’s become an avid Paddle tennis player to hone her volleying skills. One of Lina’s greatest passion is cooking family meals and finding delicious foods whether it be in Denver, Sydney or on trips with Dr Kuljis and Family.
Lina is instrumental in providing support for both the staff and Dr Kuljis. Lina oversees the accounts receivables and insurance.
Alicia is a native of northern Nevada. She graduated from Utah College of Dental Hygiene in August of 2013. Alicia found her calling in the dental field when she first attended school to become a dental assistant.
She went on to gain her bachelors science degree in dental hygiene. Alicia began working for Dr Kuljis in Feb of 2014. She enjoys exploring Colorado, reading , going to movies, and camping with her friends.
Sara our longtime employee, has been working in the dental administrative field for 16 years. She graduated with a BA in Computer Science. Patients feel confident not only with her knowledge of the mysteries of insurance but also her familiarity of dental procedures which put our patients at ease. Patients feel confident with Sara going over Dr. Kuljis' treatment plans in association with insurance co-payments or discounts offered by various insurances.
Sara volunteers at animal shelters in conjunction with working at a elderly nursing home.
Ann was born and raised in Chicago but she's been living in Denver for the past eleven years. She enjoys hiking in the mountains and to the beautiful rivers of Colorado. Being from Chicago she's diehard Bears fan but still loves to watch the Broncos as well. Ann is a student too studying psychology. With her spare time Ann likes to spend time with her boyfriend and going to the movies. Ann finds it rewarding being dental assistant because it allows her to help others, while educating them on a subject they may not know much about. She says, "There is not much better than seeing that you really made a difference in someone’s day, my job as a dental assistant is challenging and rewarding."
A Colorado Native Courtney attended Dental Assisting after high school. Courtney knew she wanted to be a Dental Assistant from her many visits to the dentist which she looked forward to. Courtney says, "Ever since she was young I was interested and curious about my own mouth and dental procedures, it just seemed natural." Courtney wants all our patients to have the good experience she had with dentistry.
Courtney enjoys spending time with her family, camping, taking her dogs to the dog park and likes to be scared at scary movies. She also like to be adventurous trying different foods and restaurants.
